I have to start steering clear of little local cons. I never do well. This last weekend I spent three days talking to people, selling, hustling, etc, and I think I barely cleared my costs. AND IT'S IN MY HOMETOWN! So no hotel! Cheap food! No parking!
Have you had any good experiences at small cons? What do you do to make your convention experiences better? Tips? Tricks?
